Is MC Addons Manager coming back to Xbox?
After multiple meetings with some of the highest level executives in Microsoft and Minecraft, their final word was that these policies will not change. Without policy change, it is impossible for MC Addons Manager to return on Xbox.
Will MC Addons Manager ever come to Playstation or Switch?
We have applied for developer accounts on both platforms, and denied. We appealed and they rejected the appeals. Anyone that we attempt to reach out to in both organizations never responds. So unless something changes it will be impossible to bring MC Addons Manager to PlayStation or Switch.
Will you take legal action against Microsoft to try and force policies to change?
We are trying to be constructive and understanding about the situation as we craft our path forward. We believe that path is best led through collaboration. We have had some positive results in meetings with Mojang and hope to continue that collaboration for the betterment of the Minecraft Community. We cannot say more than this for now.
How can we help drive policy change?
We have personally found that the best way to make change is to make a lot of noise. Voice your opinion on social media. Make YouTube videos. Write letters to the Microsoft Executive relations team and to executives at Mojang. I can confirm that the letters they receive are read by someone and if legitimate they are passed along to a team to try to find a solution. If enough people suggest this is a big mistake and that modding Minecraft should be available to all regardless of the platform you play on, then maybe they will listen. Is MC Addons Manager compatible with Minecraft Java Edition?
No, MC Addons Manager is specifically designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
